Milan, July 2014

En route from Santorini, Greece to Istria, Croatia, we found ourselves in Milan. So what do you do during a mere 18 hour stop-over in the faaashun capital of the world? Easy- you eat and shop.

Bring you shekels, this isn’t a cheap city, but if there’s ever a time to spend €15 on a cappuccino, it may as well be during a shopping break at Sivini Ristorante in the Milan Galleria.

Visiting the Galleria is a must. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the oldest, and most spectacular shopping malls in the world. Housed in a four-storey, double arcade in central Milan, the gallery boasts stained glass ceilings, intricately tiled floors and exquisitely furbished fashion boutiques.
