Open – Daily 6.30am – 5.00pm (dinner Wednesday – Sunday until 10.00pm)
A sea-spray’s distance from Bondi Beach, lies Porch & Parlour, arguably one of the best establishments to hit the North Bondi culinary scene in recent years. Housed in one of North Bondi’s quintessential art-deco buildings, Porch has been freshly renovated, boasting a bigger than ever, new ‘old industrial’ style interior. A perfect backdrop for the photos you will feel obligated to take once your food hits the table. Seriously, the food looks so good you won’t be able to resist posting an Instagram pic.
Sunlight streams through large windows, illuminating the concrete walls and parquetry-style furnishings, filling the cafe with a sense of serenity; ironic, considering Sunday lunchtime is their busiest time of the week. Enjoy a Will & Co coffee, freshly squeezed juice and homemade, seasonal food, while soaking up the bustling (yet also chilled?) atmosphere. The menu boasts an electric range of sweet and savoury – you will not be stumped for choice. Be prepared to wait for a table, particularly on weekends. Bring a book/newspaper and your appitite.
This is Bondi at its BEST.
